Gentle guided meditations to ease you into stillness. 


 

I begin 2024, by offering six weeks of guided meditation, sessions starting in February 2024 at Fairfield Wellness, 145C Station street Fairfield. The sessions are suitable for beginners and experienced.

Scientific data indicates that approaching meditation in an effortless and natural manner can lead your body into a state of restfulness deeper than sleep within about 3 minutes. Our bodies possess the innate ability to heal themselves, with sleep being a crucial time for the body to undergo repair, and the brain to undergo a cleansing process. During deep rest and sleep, the body follows intricate cleansing routines, particularly in the brain. Despite the typically shorter duration of meditation sessions, around half an hour or so, they enable the body to engage in a profound metabolic cleansing.

Following meditation, a remarkable transformation occurs, leaving us feeling fresher, almost like the rejuvenation experienced after a holiday. Rest, especially during meditation, becomes a powerful period wherein the brain and nervous system can effectively reboot.

It's essential to observe that the true "clearing" becomes evident after meditation. During the meditation itself, the key is to embrace every thought, image, sensation, and emotion as a precious element of life.

Sometimes, undertaking a meditation practice alone and without guidance can leave us feeling that we can’t meditate or that meditation is not for us. That’s why regular attendance in a group setting with a teacher can help.

The sessions are designed for you to relax and unwind. Regular meditation will support you to lower stress levels and improve your health and wellbeing.
